Providing more advanced fundamental baseball instruction thru league play is the main focus of the boys 10-12 year old junior baseball league. The kids are introduced to the mechanics of live pitching, base stealing, bunting, defense, coaching signs, and other key fundamentals in the game of baseball. The bases are set at 75′ apart, consistent with Pony League rules.
Games are usually played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings around 5:45 – 6 p.m.; and Saturday and / or Sundays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Games have a 2 hour time limit. Parents are highly encouraged to volunteer as coaches and /or assistant coaches during the on line or walk in registration process.
Practices are set up by each respective coach – not the league. All teams qualify for the playoffs. Game schedules will be provided once the teams are filled. Anyone with questions concerning the 10-12 boys league may contact Pat Dunn, 10-12 League Commissioner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
